On September 27, from 5-7 p.m., the City is partnering with Freeman Drug for a free Covid-19 vaccination event at the former Police station located at 125 E. Elm Streets. This event will be held concurrently with the Fire Department’s Open House. The vaccine will be free and there will be an opportunity for those getting vaccinated at this event to enter a drawing to win one of several prizes.

Eligible participants include adults 18 and over who will receive the Johnson & Johnson one-dose vaccine, and youth ages 12-18 who will receive the Pfizer vaccine. Individuals under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. There is no charge or co-pay for the vaccine; however, those who are insured are asked to bring their insurance information.
