[ARCHIVED] Was JFK Assassin a Lone Gunman?

It’s been fifty years since that November day in Dallas, Texas, when the nation’s 35th president was assassinated. Most every American then alive remembers the day. Those who were not yet born have almost certainly heard of it.
Why did his violent and untimely death spark an outpouring of grief worldwide? Who was this man and what did he accomplish in just over 1,000 days as president that so indelibly left its mark on our country?
To mark this anniversary, the River Falls Public Library is presenting a three-hour program by local residents Ed Vlack and Larry Bystrom.
Avid collectors of Kennedy assassination memorabilia, Bystrom and Vlack will display a part of their collections of artifacts, pictures, and publications from noon-1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23 in the library’s lower level.
Then from 1-3:30 p.m. that day, they will talk about the years leading up to the shooting that so shocked the nation, as well as what transpired in the following days. There will be plenty of time for questions.
