If you've been curious about the value of something, or just wondering what the heck it is, now is the time to find out. Knowledgeable appraiser and delightful entertainer Mark Moran visits the library to offer his opinion on your treasures. Moran has been a guest on the PBS series Antiques Roadshow. Reservations required. Fee is $10 per item. Call 715 426-3496 to sign up.

Acceptable items to bring for appraisal include fine art, furniture, ceramics, glassware, vintage photographs, advertising, souvenirs, folk art, toys, metalware, clocks and costume jewelry.
Excluded items include all weapons, coins and paper money, Beanie Babies, fine jewelry, including precious gems, pocket and wristwatches, and musical instruments, although some early electric and acoustical guitars are acceptable
