Join us for a presentation by Michelle Parkinson, UWRF English professor and the coordinator of Women's and Gender Studies. Activism in the '60s was limited to anti-war and civil rights. The decade saw the feminist movement shift from issues related to gender inequality in voting and property rights, to a much wider range second-wave feminism broadened the debate to a wide range of issues: sexuality, family, the workplace, reproductive rights, and both de facto and official legal inequalities. should be an interesting evening!
