Police and Fire Commission
Meeting: 1st Monday at 7:00 p.m. Monthly.
LEGAL BASIS: Wisconsin Statutes 62.13 - Mandatory Municipal Code - Section 2.60
DUTIES: Select Chief of Police and Fire Chief, approve appointments of subordinates made by Chiefs. Carry out duties regarding employment practices, disciplinary action and dismissals.
LENGTH OF TERM: 5 Years
COMPENSATION: Per Resolution #3041 dated 7-22-97
APPOINTING AUTHORITY: Mayor, in writing, filed with Secretary of Police and Fire Commission between the last Monday in April and first Monday in May of the year of appointment. Confirmation by Council not required.
